
Which do you prefer natural food or processed food??
Natural food are foods that do not contain any additives such as preservatives or artificial coloring. Natural foods has no legal definition but there are guidelines that suggest that the term should be applied only to single foods that have been subjected only to mild processing such as heating concentrating freezing but not chemically or severely processed. The concept of natural food is closely is related to the quality aspects of the foods. New scientific methods enable scientist to measure and detect impurities in food. The quality aspects of food are seen under the microscope, thus scientist could see the bacteria, microorganism and chemical residue. Therefore food are determined as chemically clear or not. Natural food guarantee a long and healthy life since they can prevent diseases and aging. This concept lays the belief that natural food are pure and free from the harmful and unwholesome components. Pure food are perceived as natural simple unspoiled and earthy but at the same time expected to be germ free, biologically cleansed and scientifically aseptics.

They after include additives such as flavoring and texture- enhancing agents which may have little or no intuitive value. Preservatives are added or created during processing to extend the shelf life of commercially available products. Canning, Freezing Refrigeration, Dehydration and Aseptics processing.

Processed Food has been both a modern convenience and somewhat of a curse to the us. On one had, the ease of throwing something in the microwave or picking up a prepackaged meal has made our life easier. Just about any food we want we can have in 3 minutes or under with just a click on the timer. However, we are paying a price for the simplicity of processed food. We have gotten away from the natural food that we are intended to eat

FACTS:
Processed foods that may not as healthy as fresh food include canned food with lots of sodium,white breads and pastas made with refined white flour, high fat convenience foods like frozen fish sticks and frozen dinners;packaged cakes and cookies and sugary breakfast cereals. Processed meats might be some of the worst of these foods. Eating these meats may increase your risk of colorectal, kidney and stomach cancer. Processed meats include hotdogs bologna ham anf other packaged lunch meats.
POSITIVE SIDE OF PROCESSED FOODS:
One healthy example of food processing is frozen veggies while fresh may be best,freezing veggies preserved vitamins and minerals and makes them convenient to cook and eat all year round. Fruit and veggies juice is also example of a healthy processed fooods. In fact some orange juices is fortified with calcium to make it even more nutritious. Another example is milk, also considered as a processed food because it is pasteurized to kill the bacteria and homogenized to keep fats from separating.
nowadays processed foods are being introduce for it is an easy way to eat, to cook or it is instant, but let us not forget that natural food is still the best.
